Will skins designed for Ipod nano fit Ipod nano 2nd generation??

Technically, yes, they will fit. The screen and clickwheel will align and there is hardly any difference in the height. However, as the iPod nano 1st Gen Skins are two piece designs, compared to the nano 2nd Gen one piece wrap around design, placing a 1st Gen Skin on a 2nd Gen nano will leave part of the curved sides of the nano exposed. Some customers may like these color strips at the side and see it as a 'feature', but we will recommend using a 2nd Gen Skin instead.

Actually, yes. I've got one sitting next to me and have taken a few shots (attached). We had a reseller who was interested in such a compatibility but unfortunately, it's a no go as the fitting doesn't work well the other way around.

The front surface looks fine as the screen and clickwheel placements are the same. The right side looks fine too. However, the nano 2 Skin can't stick well to the 4 corners of the nano 1 as it was never designed to do so, and the ends do not meet as the nano 1 is thicker than the nano 2.

In short, a nano 2nd Gen Skin should go with a nano 2nd Gen and a nano 1st Gen Skin with a nano 1st Gen.
