I definitely think it helps to have an account, because everything is stored if you're a frequent visitor. It helps you keep track of your purchases.

Creating an account is actually no different from filling up a form to let us know where the package has to be sent to, which is a necessary part of any order process anyway. An account does not give the user any more work or hassle, but rather, it helps to ensure that we can follow-up and support orders properly as there is a proper audit trail. The only difference will be the users' perception of 'account creation' and we have done as much as we could to ensure that the process goes as smoothly/easily as possible.
