Peaceful Snow

It snowed in Paris two days back and it was a pity that I was not around to experience it. I love snow, not the kind that becomes a sluggish paste on the roads or the kind where you need to dig yourself out of each morning, but the moderate kind that floats down gently from the sky and gives everything a nice white coating.

More importantly, snow makes everything peaceful to me. Peace is a luxury in this world, especially so in our hurried lives and on a larger scale, the conflicts...

Painting A Thousand Words

I'm not a man of many words, as you've probably noticed from the lack of updates to this blog, but my latest passion is one that helps me to express myself through what I see.

The world is beautiful and better appreciated at certain angles. In many ways, the same can be said about life. Life sucks as we know it but it's really up to us to make do with what we have, to continually strive for improvements and yet be happy with our successes or achievements.

iPhone v1.1.3 Now Works With SingTel Multi-SIM

I'm pleased to report that the multi-sim SingTel card now works in the iPhone after the version 1.1.3 software upgrade despite problems with previous versions. It was necessary to connect the iPhone to iTunes once more for the unlock.

1) Upgrade the iPhone
2) Change to SingTel card
3) Power down the iPhone by holding the power button and slide when prompted
4) Power on the...

Upgrade of iPhone to 1.1.3

The upgrade of the unlocked iPhone to version 1.1.3 worked flawlessly, which made the cost of a legally unlocked iPhone almost worth it. The icons shake and Google Map's location triangulation works amazingly well!

There's still no way to import high-res photos though. Apple, if you're reading this, please understand that some of us need to carry high-res artwork around for work purposes.
